YOUTH
Our purpose in the Student Ministry of HCBC Georgetown is to encourage and equip every student to live the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:34-40) and pursue the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Our Mission is to proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching every student with all wisdom, so that we may present every student complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28). Throughout the year we enjoy Bible Studies, service projects, mission trips, a huge summer outreach and many other fun activities.
Refuge (4th-5th grades): We are striving to teach students to find their safety and security in the refuge of God's love.
Alter (6th-8th grades): As an athlete trains and alters his or her life we are equipping students to alter their lives to the disciplines of prayer, scripture reading, and other practices that will them help grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Surge (9th-12th grades): This group focuses on knowing God as their fortress and altering their lives to live by His commands. They are being equipped to surge forth with the Good News of Jesus Christ in their schools, families, and community.
